Unashamedly bold and fearless when uniting blooms, our design spirit is modern sculptural, eco-friendly and totally unique to every couple we meet. We choose seasonal and locally grown flowers wherever possible and are huge advocates for sustainable floristry practices.
THE SUSTAINABLE WEDDING FLORIST
Working towards our goal of becoming a zero-waste florist, we’re changing the way we look at floral design and educating couples on the simple steps you can take to reduce your environmental impact when choosing wedding flowers.
Our designs are 100% floral foam free.
This prevents millions of toxic micro-plastics and carcinogens like formaldehyde from entering our waterways and our bodies. We also encourage our couples to embrace locally grown and seasonal flowers as imported blooms are sprayed with a myriad of pesticides, flown thousands of kilometres then fumigated with methyl-bromide, a chemical that is harmful to both the ozone layer and our bodies. Donating and recycling left over blooms is always encouraged, with the option to have your flowers re-arranged into bouquets for guests to take home. Embracing minimalistic designs that reduce the overall volume and variety of flowers is another simple and cost effective way we can make your wedding more eco-friendly.
LET’S CHAT WEDDING FLOWERS!
Whether you're just dipping your toes into this part of your planning, looking for a wedding flower price guide or locked and loaded with lists and ideas, we can't wait to hear from you. Send through a few details below and let's start planning!
Our next step is to connect!
Whether that's over the phone or over coffee, I want to get to know a little more about yourself and your partner. How did you meet? How do you want your wedding day to feel - what kind of atmosphere do you want to create? Do have any special tributes you'd like to make through the flowers we choose? Is there a flower that holds special meaning for you?
After our consultation, I’ll head back to the studio to create a mood board that will give you a better idea of how the arrangements you’ve spoken about will look and feel. From here, we’ll collaborate together until you're happy with the designs presented and confident in the direction we’re heading.
